Following the launch of Chord Solstice power, interconnect and speaker cables we have been contacted by an American company regarding the use of the Solstice name. 

The name Solstice has been registered in the United States and because we feel that our flagship cable range should be recognised globally, we have taken the decision to change the name of the Chord Solstice cable range to Chord Sarum. 

The name Sarum refers to a Neolithic hill fort situated on the outskirts of the City of Salisbury.  This reflects not only our geographic position but also the history and heritage of the countryside that surrounds our research and production facility in the heart of Wiltshire. 

The materials, configuration and construction methods of the cables remain unchanged.
Chord Sarum is still the cable of choice for anyone wishing to enjoy the ultimate experience from their music collection
